Square Stories Submissions
How to Submit Your Square Story
Please send us a short synopsis, 1 to 2 paragraphs outlining your story.
As you write it, think in simple story beats:
• How did it begin?
• What happened?
• Why was it important?
• What changed because of it?
We especially love a true “Medina Core” memory, a story shaped by living here, loving someone who has, or carrying Medina with you. Stories where the Medina Square plays some role, even as quiet texture in the background, are preferred.
Focus on one clear moment or experience. It does not have to be dramatic. Small, ordinary moments often carry the most meaning.
If your story is selected, we will contact you directly with next steps. From there, we may adapt and narrate your piece with credit or anonymously, if preferred, accept a short written story submission for Aaron to narrate, or schedule a brief interview to capture your voice and shape it into a produced episode for the 7 Minute Stories podcast. Once produced and finalized, it will go live during the calendar year on the 7 Minute Stories podcast feed as part of the Square Stories bonus series.
We are already receiving a strong number of submissions and will do our best to review each one carefully. We will only respond if we plan to move forward with your story. If you do not hear from us, please feel free to submit again in three months with an updated synopsis.
We cannot wait to read what the Square has meant to you.
