Production is officially underway for Storytelling University, a new conversation series from the 7 Minute Stories universe.
The series has already been introduced to listeners—but now the cameras and mics are rolling. The first recorded conversation features Shannon Cason, an award-winning storyteller known for his unforgettable work with The Moth, Snap Judgment, and his own acclaimed podcast, Homemade Stories. Shannon’s honesty, grit, and craftsmanship make him the perfect voice to kick things off.
Created and hosted by 7 Minute Stories founder Aaron Calafato, Storytelling University is a deep dive into the art and philosophy of storytelling as a human phenomenon. Fueled by Aaron’s lifelong love for story—and his insatiable curiosity—it explores how stories emerge, why they matter, and how master storytellers shape them across film, audio, literature, theater, and beyond.
