Storytelling University Becomes a Destination for Conversations at the Intersection of Narrative and Meaning

Medina, Ohio — Storytelling University, a bonus series within the 7 Minute Stories podcast feed, is quickly emerging as a destination for conversations exploring the intersection of narrative storytelling and meaning.

Created by storyteller and podcaster Aaron Calafato, the series expands on the foundation of 7 Minute Stories by opening up deeper, unscripted conversations with thinkers, creators, and cultural voices who approach storytelling from distinct and often unexpected angles.

Since its debut, Storytelling University has featured a growing lineup of notable guests, including Noraly Schoenmaker, Angus Fletcher, Father James Martin, and Rainn Wilson. Each conversation explores storytelling as more than a craft, examining its role in shaping belief, identity, exploration, spirituality, and human connection.

“What’s been most compelling is how these conversations continue to converge,” said Calafato. “No matter the background or discipline, they all circle the same idea. Story is how we make meaning.”

Positioned within the widely followed 7 Minute Stories feed, the series gives listeners a new entry point into the philosophy behind storytelling, while maintaining the intimate, human tone that has defined the show’s growth.

Upcoming episodes continue to build on this momentum. A conversation with Father James Martin, set to release April 26, explores the role of story in faith, spirituality, and the search for meaning in modern life. In May, an episode featuring Rainn Wilson expands the conversation into the intersection of storytelling, performance, and spiritual inquiry, further reinforcing the series as a space where disciplines collide and deeper questions are explored.

As new episodes continue to roll out, Storytelling University is becoming a consistent home for conversations that sit at the unique crossroads of story, narrative, and the search for meaning—while increasingly attracting some of the most notable storytellers across disciplines who are drawn to that very intersection.
